Scientists require access to the ionosphere in order to conduct important communication, navigation and surveillance R&D. The current situation with extremely limited access to this region prevents scientists from having the opportunity to develop these significant technologies for use by interested research entities. Green Launch has designed and tested vehicles that will facilitate testing in this region. The use of a wound specialized fiberglass for the vehicle body has the advantages of being low weight and very strong in compression during launch. Conveniently this type of fiberglass is transparent to RF so the antenna can be protected inside the vehicle. More details are available on request.
